FAQs

What should I expect?
Your session will usually begin with a brief consultation to discuss your needs, preferences, areas of concern, and any relevant health information. Your practitioner will explain the treatment and ensure that you are comfortable throughout the session. You are always encouraged to communicate about pressure, temperature, positioning, or anything else that may affect your comfort.

How often should I come?
This depends on your individual needs and goals. Some clients enjoy a massage occasionally for relaxation, while others may benefit from regular sessions to support stress management, muscle tension, mobility, or overall wellbeing. Your practitioner can help you decide on a schedule that works for you.

Can pregnant women receive massage?
Yes, many pregnant women can enjoy massage, with appropriate adjustments for comfort and safety. It is important to let your practitioner know that you are pregnant and how far along you are. If you have a high-risk pregnancy or any medical concerns, you should consult your doctor or healthcare provider before booking. There are also trained practitioners in pre- and post-natal massages, so ask.

Do I need to remove clothing?
This depends on the type of treatment you are receiving. For a full-body massage using oils or lotions, clients usually undress to their own level of comfort. You will always be professionally draped with a sheet or towel, and only the area being worked on will be uncovered. For treatments such as chair massage or certain stretching sessions, you can remain fully clothed.

How long is a session?
Session length depends on the treatment you book. Massage sessions may range from 30 minutes to 60, 90, or 120 minutes, depending on your needs and the type of service selected. Your practitioner can help you choose the most suitable session length.

Can I claim insurance?
Insurance coverage depends on your individual insurance provider and policy. Some health insurance plans may offer benefits for massage or complementary therapies, while others may not. We recommend checking directly with your insurance provider to find out whether your treatment is eligible for reimbursement and what documentation may be required.
